Modern day practices, sleek design elements, and a local food culture have emerged in the form of eleven14 Kitchen. Taking its cues from seasonal availability, and combining them with an array of flavors from around the world. The menu is just as modern as the atmosphere.
An open pantry lined with pickled vegetables, infused vinegars and oils, & an array of freshly baked pastries & desserts greet guests as they make their way into eleven14 Kitchen. The backdrop to the bar and restaurant is a stunning wood-burning open hearth, clad in custom copper panels. The expansive dining room consists of an eclectic mix of furnishings with warm leather and color splashes throughout that are relaxed and comfortable, while exuding a lively spirit.
Unlike anything that exists in the region, the design brings the indoors outside. The outdoor dining and bar areas are protected from the weather by a clever system of trellises and heating units that allow the outdoor area to be used for much of the year. The property is adorned with lush gardens, a resort style pool and sunning area and an outdoor fireplace and cascading water feature, that all combined, provides the space with a unique energy - day and night.
Private events can be accommodated in the library, the wine room, the board room, and the beautiful outdoor garden.
Spearheading the restaurant and catered events is Executive Chef François Kwaku-Dongo, most well-known for his years at Wolfgang Puck’s Spago in West Hollywood and Chicago. In 1992, François was voted one of the best upcoming young chefs in Los Angeles. Food critic Ruth Reichl of the Los Angeles Times credits François with introducing artisan pasta to California Cuisine. François is a 2008 James Beard Award Nominee and was featured in Forbes Magazine as one of ten up-and-coming celebrity chefs. eleven14 Kitchen pays homage to the Chef’s upbringing on his grandmother’s cocoa farm in Côte d’Ivoire, West Africa, where he grew up living off the bounty of the land.
The Seasonal American menu combines local New England ingredients with global infusions. Proudly supporting locally raised meats, sustainable seafood sources, and responsible stewardship as a virtue; we look to the farm for inspiration and allow the food to speak for itself.
